Just a reminder about our first showjumping comp tonight - weather looks great so should be a nice evening.
Everyone very welcome - Clear round from 4 to 5.45 followed by classes.
Course is on grass in the new jumping paddock - rosettes to 4th and prize money to winner. Relaxed and low key - casual dress - ideal for beginners and horses new to jumping. Hopefully be a lot of fun !!
toilets / refreshments - and we can usually be persuaded to put the kettle on Smile

And look out for our Bank holiday fun jumping day - including 'baby steps' jumping - aimed at complete beginners and lead rein welcome. (11am start)

All info on website www.southchesterliverystables.co.uk
(no dogs please Smile )

What a great first show, well organised and prize money!!!. Everyone was soooo friendly-thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Feel as if I have known you all for years. Very Happy

Jason was so relaxed too, but think he had wings on his hooves last night because he flew. Laughing

Would definitely recommend this place-lovely people, great jumps and course and super supportive atmosphere. Will see you all again at the next one!!

Just to say a big thank you to everyone who helped at the showjumping today - we had a fab turn out, and everyone was lovely, really hoped you enjoyed yourselves. The pims went down well and the chase me charlie was great, very impressive with the final jump just a few inches shy of 4ft ! Well done everyone. photos by hoofprint photography will be uploaded soon (link on site). Will try organise some catering for the next one ! Very Happy

So proud of Jase today even though a bit temperamental over the double.

Well done both Laura's and couldn't watch Jase do the last jumps on the Chase me Charlie. Had my heart in my mouth-it was huge-delighted to get a joint first at nearly 4 ft.

Who had the Pimms share next time Laughing

A picture of all in the Chase me Charlie

And Jason thinking did I jump that??

A great show, thankyou Carly and all who helped.

Another vote to say this is a great show - especially for those with younger horses or riders who are unused to competing as it's very friendly and doesn't have the intense competitive atmosphere of some.
I was just there to watch as I didn't have my lead rein running legs on Wink

Yes - plan to keep record on website of leading chase me charlie rider and maybe have a special prize for the overall winner at end of the summer shows as it was such fun.

Can anyone help - As well as Laura, who was our other joint winner on BH monday ?? I really sorry cant recall name but know it was a super brave little pony jumping bigger than its own height !

Smile
